Michael P. Kelley is senior vice president and director of claims operations at HUB International New England and the insurance industry representative for the Massachusetts Workers’ Comp Advisory Council. HUB’s claim staff advocates for policyholders when claim complications occur. Kelley and the team guide HUB’s clients through the challenging claim process to efficiently manage the process – troubleshooting as needed – to make reaching a solution easier for all involved. As the leader of the claims management department, his duties include claim advocacy, meetings with clients, adjusters, and loss inspectors, as well as claims management and settlement strategies. Kelley has more than 40 years of insurance industry experience starting with the American Mutual Insurance Companies in 1982. He is trained in all lines of claim investigation with a focus on both commercial and personal lines claims.
Kelley holds Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations from the Insurance Institute of America. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Merrimack College.
