A.J. Axelrod

A.J. Axelrod is Clio’s Vice President of Payments and Financial Services, leading the strategic roadmap for Clio’s expanding legal fintech portfolio, including Clio Payments. He focuses on operational excellence, revenue growth, and product innovation, working across teams in product, technology, sales, marketing, and finance. 

With 15+ years of experience in payments, SaaS, and fintech, A.J. has held leadership roles including Principal of Embedded Fintech at Radian Capital, Head of Strategy at HoneyBook, and Senior Director of Payments Strategy at Mindbody. He also founded a consulting practice advising SaaS companies and investors. 

Beyond work, A.J. is a passionate skier, cyclist, mountain biker, and fly fisherman, living with his family and their Bernese mountain dog, Grizzly.
