Amie Peters

Amie C. Peters heads Blue Water Legal PLLC, representing injured workers with claims under the Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and its extensions, including the Defense Base Act. She practices before all Washington State courts, the U.S. District Court for Western District of Washington, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Peters is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group, and is a founding member of the DOL-Joint Bar Association. She holds leadership roles in many of these organizations and regularly speaks/writes on the LHWCA and general litigation issues. Peters is a graduate of Eastern Washington University and earned her law degree from Washington State University School of Law.
