Tom Mighell is a Senior Consultant with Contoural, Inc., where he helps companies deal with records management, litigation readiness, and electronic discovery issues.  Tom publishes two blogs – Inter Alia, a blog on Legal Technology, and iPad 4 Lawyers. Tom is the author of iPad in One Hour for Lawyers and iPad Apps in One Hour for Lawyers, both published by the American Bar Association.  He is also the co-host, along with Dennis Kennedy, of The Kennedy-Mighell Report, a legal technology podcast on the Legal Talk Network.  Tom currently serves as Chair of the ABA’s Law Practice Management Section.  He previously served in the Section’s ABA TECHSHOW Planning Board for four years, and served as Chair of ABA TECHSHOW 2008.  Tom received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from The University of Texas at Austin.

Monica Bay

Monica Bay, a lawyer and journalist, has been editor-in-chief of Law Technology News magazine since 1998, and with ALM since 1985. She is the author of  The Common Scold and manager of EDD Update blogs. Her monthly podcast, Law Technology Now, produced in partnership with Legal Talk Network, can also be found at lawtechnologynow.com.  Under her direction, LTN magazine has won 47 awards for editorial excellence, from American Business Media, the American Bar Association, the American Society of Business Publications Editors, the Trade Association Business Publications International, and others. She has also been honored by the Associated Press and Sigma Delta Chi. A frequent speaker, Bay has been quoted in numerous newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times and Southwest Spirit magazine.

Long active in cyberspace, she helped The Late Show with David Letterman establish its first website on America Online. A member of the California bar, she lives in New York City and Lakeville, CT.

Jared D. Correia, Esq.

Jared is Law Practice Management Advisor at LOMAP. Prior to joining LOMAP, he was the Publications Attorney for the Massachusetts Bar Association (“MBA”). He was the first Publications Attorney for the MBA, and established the continuing legal education publication protocols and standards. In addition to overseeing the MBA’s CLE Publications, he also managed the MBA’s version of Casemaker, an online legal research product provided free of charge to MBA members. Prior to joining the MBA, Mr. Correia was a private practice attorney, working in the areas of general practice and disability law, in small firms on the Southcoast, North of Boston and just outside of Boston. Mr. Correia’s general practice encompassed a diverse range of legal subjects, including the handling of administrative hearings, personal injury law, family law, tax law and property law matters. Mr. Correia is active in raising funds for cancer research and has founded a charitable organization to benefit autistic children. He is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School and Saint Anselm College, where he was a captain of the Saint Anselm College Debate Team that finished second nationally in 2000.
