The Kennedy-Mighell Report, a legal technology podcast with an Internet focus, is hosted by Dennis Kennedy and Tom Mighell, noted legal technology writers, speakers, bloggers and innovators.  Whether it’s a practical look at the implications of a brand new technology or a fresh look at how to use existing technologies in better ways, Dennis and Tom discuss the ways lawyers (and others) can use technology to improve their services to clients, do their work more effectively and make their lives easier than ever before. They like to educate their audience, make complex topics seem simple and share their knowledge and enthusiasm about the rapidly-changing world of technology. They see technology as a practical toolbox, enjoy answering audience questions and like to have a little fun along the way, too.

Dennis Kennedy has been called one of the most influential authorities on the application of technology to the practice of law. Dennis has long been an award-winning, widely-published author on legal technology topics, starting with his legal technology column in Lawyers Weekly USA in 1996. He currently writes a legal technology column for the ABA Journal. Dennis was one of the first lawyers to maintain a web page in 1995 and has been blogging since 2003. His blog (http://denniskennedy.com/blog) and his website are highly-regarded resources on technology law and legal technology topics. He co-wrote, with Tom Mighell, the book, The Lawyer’s Guide to Collaboration Tools: Smart Ways to Work Together, has spoken to many audiences on a variety of technology topics, and has long been involved in legal technology education and other projects, including the ABA Law Practice Management Section, ABA TECHSHOW and the Legal Skills Prof Blog. Tom Mighell is Senior Counsel at Contoural, Inc., where he provides records management and electronic discovery services to companies.  He is a frequent speaker and writer on the Internet, electronic discovery, and other legal technology topics, having authored the legal technology newsletter The Mighell Marker since 2000 and the legal technology blog Inter Alia since 2002.  He is the co-author, along with Dennis Kennedy, of The Lawyer’s Guide to Collaboration Tools and Technologies:  Smart Ways to Work Together, and iPad in One Hour for Lawyers (to be published in 2011).  Tom served as Chair of ABA TECHSHOW 2008, and is currently the Chair-Elect of the ABA’s Law Practice Management Section.  He received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.
