Legal Talk Network Programs Now Available as CLE in West LegalEdcenter

Norwood, Massachusetts/ March 5, 2010 – Legal Talk Network announces a new partnership with West LegalEdcenter to offer its award-winning legal podcasts for continuing legal education (CLE) credit online. Attorneys who already enjoy listening to Legal Talk Network’s programs can also now receive CLE credit by purchasing the on-demand programs through West LegalEdcenter.

Legal Talk Network offers fifteen different legal podcasts in its programming, all original content covering a wide range of topics, produced and published regularly on the network, in iTunes and RSS for legal professionals globally. High profile attorneys host the podcasts with expert guests invited to discuss topics, ranging from U.S. Supreme Court rulings to legal ethics, intellectual property law, entertainment law, labor law and consumer protection law.  Lawyer2Lawyer with co-hosts J. Craig Williams, partner at Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP and Attorney Robert J. Ambrogi, has won multiple awards and is the longest running legal podcast. All the Legal Talk Network programs are produced in broadcast news format with the high quality sound of traditional radio and available free to listeners. Special Reports such as a Conversation with F. Lee Bailey, an interview with Attorney Bill Gates, Sr., and the Big Tobacco case with attorney Joseph F. Rice are also available on Legal Talk Network.

By making these programs eligible for CLE credit, West LegalEdcenter allows attorneys to fulfill their CLE requirements with some of the most up-to-date legal analysis and commentary available.

“We’re excited about our partnership with West LegalEdcenter. Our approach to creating unique content for legal professionals in a new media marketing strategy has been successful, attracting 1.4 million listeners to our podcasts in 2009.  We’re proud that we have a loyal audience and we believe attorneys will enjoy the option of listening to our podcasts for CLE credit too,” says Lu Ann Reeb, president of Legal Talk Network.

“We’ve been impressed with the high quality of Legal Talk Network’s programming, the caliber of its hosts and guests, and the strength of its marketing strategies. We’re pleased to offer their podcasts for CLE credit to West LegalEdcenter customers,” said Lee Ann Enquist, vice president of West Professional Development. Enquist is a guest on Legal Talk Network’s flagship Lawyer2Lawyer program to discuss the new partnership.
